The 23rd edition of Jewellery Arabia was held recently (18-22 November) at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The exhibition’s hosts market Jewellery Arabia as the “largest and most prestigious jewellery exhibition in the Middle East, showcasing world famous names and artisan designs from across the globe”.
Held under the patronage of the Bahraini Prime Minister, the exhibition regularly attracts more than 600 exhibitors from 30 countries who showcase their products in a space of more than 16,500 square metres. And this year, there were more exhibitors and exhibition stands than ever before!
Ahlam Janahi, a board member at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the exhibition’s success has helped stimulate tourism, in particular “exhibition and conference tourism”.
Local businessman Kazem al-Saeed witnessed the launch of the exhibition in 1992 by virtue of his work at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre. He said “Jewellery Arabia enjoys a prestigious status regionally and globally. It is a prominent landmark in the exhibition industry and has become the most important specialised exhibition in the Middle East.”
