It’s not often that a new exhibition sells out before the show’s first day. Which is why the organisers of the inaugural Skipper Expo Int. Bristol must be delighted! Exhibition stand space for the forthcoming show is now sold out, underlining the huge interest in the event.
The Expo, which will be held in Bristol at the Marriott City Centre Hotel is the only fisheries show of its type. Showcasing the work of the English and Welsh fishing industries, the 2013 show takes place between the 25th and 26th of October 2013.
According to Sharon Boyle of Mara Media, 75 exhibitors have now signed up. Commenting on the announcement she said “We are really pleased by the strong level of interest in the Bristol fisheries expo. It seems that the local fishermen feel this is an event which has been long overdue.”
Among those exhibiting will be Penzance Dry Dock, which hosts one of the UK’s longest established dry docks. The company’s Kevin Ayres said “ The exhibition provides a great platform to speak with and inform trawler owners on the full range of ship repair facilities and services available at Penzance Dry Dock.”
Smaller boat operators will have plenty to interest them too. All sorts of equipment manufactures are expected to attend from small boat builders to marine hardware companies.
